WorkNomads is looking for a perfectionistic Operations Manager to join our team and play a central role in our WN LAB Hotel in Sofia, Bulgaria.

As an Operations Manager, you’re a born multitasker with a pragmatic approach while keeping an eye for the detail to maintain the highest standard. You focus on the flexibility and freedom of our guests, and which is at the heart of our (digital) customer experience.
Dare to have a mission:
• Lead daily operations meetings for Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Restaurant team
• Distribute the workload to the teams and meticulously follow-up the logging of their activities in the PMS system
• Make the staff schedules according to the anticipated bookings and activities in the hotel keeping in mind the budgetary restrictions and overtime costs
• Drafting and overseeing the implementation of procedures for the routine tasks and events
• Monitoring staff performance in great detail to ensure they are meeting standards of quality service and customer satisfaction
• Rigid weekly reporting about the hotel occupancy rate, revenue splits per business unit, costs, staff schedules and overtime
• Work in close relation with finance department to guarantee input of the right figures and real-time reporting
• Conducting audits to ensure that all aspects of the hotel are in compliance with legal requirements
• Quality control of all aspects including hygiene and health and safety
• Responsible for procurement of the biggest hotel expenses
• Regularly liaise with ICT and community team regarding use and update of the digital assets
• Continuous education on the newest trends in the leisure business with view to propose improvements of the guest experience at the WN LAB Hotel

• Highly efficient time management and pragmatic organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Critical mind which challenges the comfort zone and status quo
• Curiosity to new and other ways of working from other industries
• Strong business acumen and work ethic
• Experience in working with a PMS system is a plus
• Fluency in Bulgarian and English
• Availability to work in the evenings and in the weekends
