Job Description
We are looking for a tech-savvy and guest-oriented Hotel Back Office Operator to manage the digital guest journey and support front desk operations behind the scenes. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and personalized experience for each guest from the moment they book until their arrival. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellence through digital hospitality.

Manage and monitor the digital guest journey across all booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, direct bookings)
Ensure timely follow-up on all reservations, special requests, and pre-arrival communication
Coordinate group bookings and events and assist with their special requirements
Respond to guest inquiries and requests via email, online platforms, and internal systems
Monitor and respond to guest reviews across platforms such as Google, TripAdvisor, and OTA channels
Communicate special preferences or issues to the front desk and other relevant departments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the PMS (Property Management System)
Collaborate with front office and reservations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
Support the sales and marketing teams with relevant guest data insights
Assist in optimizing booking conversions and guest satisfaction scores
The tools in your backpack
Previous experience in hotel front office or reservations/back office
Strong knowledge of booking engines, OTAs, and channel managers
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; other languages are a plus
Proficiency with hotel software systems (PMS, CRM, Channel Manager, etc.)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Tech-savvy with a good understanding of digital communication
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Flexible and responsive to guest and team needs
