BIM Architect (Remote)

We at WorkNomads are looking for a motivated BIM Architect (residential, office and hotel buildings) to join our team, being ready to travel abroad to oversee and coordinate the planning, design and execution of the respective BIM projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineering, operations, construction, and external stakeholders/ contractors, to ensure the timely and efficient BIM design delivery for the planned projects.


Dare to have a mission:

· Organize, implement, and oversee the BIM design process for all stages of development, from concept to architectural and construction documentation.

· Establish and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ensure adherence to standards and project goals.

· Define and enforce workflows, protocols, and naming conventions for BIM models and data management.

· Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to align project requirements and BIM deliverables.

· Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural, structural, and MEP models seamlessly.

· Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries and coordination within the project team and with external stakeholders.

· Lead the architectural design process, incorporating innovative and sustainable solutions tailored to hotel, residential, and office building typologies or similar with a mixed occupancy.

· Ensure the architectural vision is effectively translated into accurate and constructible BIM models.

· Review and validate models for compliance with local regulations, building codes, and project-specific requirements.

· Proficiency in Revit is a must, other SW tools experience shall be considered as advantage (Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper).

· Identify and resolve clashes using tools like Navisworks and ensure coordination across disciplines.

· Present BIM-based design concepts, visualizations, and project progress to clients and stakeholders.

· Respond to client feedback and ensure their requirements are integrated into the design process.

· Foster long-term client relationships by delivering high-quality and innovative solutions.


The tools in your backpack:

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3 years focusing on BIM processes.

· Proven track record of working on hotel, residential, and/or office building projects.

· Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo, etc.).

· Knowledge of interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection tools.

· Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations.

· Strong organizational and project management skills.

· Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

· Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

· Ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams.

· Fluency in English (Spanish would be an advantage).
