We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with a passion for AVG to join our growing team for 5 -6 months in Slovakia .
Dare to have a mission:
- Pre-project training with the manufacturer of AGV technology
- Intensive own professional development in the field of AGV Automation
- Preparation of AGV programs
- Preparation of communication and method of implementation with the customer and internal team
- Testing and preparation for implementations with the DEMO set in IQL
- Customer training associated with putting the device into operation
- Remote and on-site customer support after commissioning
- Perform integration tests and quality control
- Monitor the use of robotic/ AGV systems and optimize their functionality
- Participate on project teams to develop clear specifications, evaluate the feasibility of concepts and provide formal estimates for robotic/ AGV system designs
- Engage with teams of Designers, Engineers, and Technicians in the design, and debug of equipment
- Ad-hoc problem solving and finding solutions
- Communication with suppliers and tracking of material delivery dates, receiving and checking the correctness of deliveries from suppliers
- Participation in technological meetings with the customer
- Project management support, participation in project meetings - coordination and control of project status.
- Clarifications and cooperation in specifying the list of purchased components
The tools in your backpack:
- Degree in engineering, electrical, mechatronic, computer science, or relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years as an engineer in a highly automated environment supporting automation and/or robotic and AGV systems
- Experience in integrations of industrial machines and logistics integrations
- Proven ability to develop mechatronic systems
- Proven skills in writing software and programming robotics
- Knowledge of statistical quality control, efficiency, and productivity optimisation
- A passion for connecting technical solutions with operational excellence
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Fluency in English
Nice to have:
- Experience skills in writing AGV systems
- Experience in developing and optimising Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems
