VISION SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER (hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled Vision Systems programmer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Development Stage

  • Collaborate on the concept development of automation solutions with a focus on:
    • Modularity and configurability of solutions
    • Robustness for commonly used 3rd-party platforms
    • Selection of key components such as sensors and measurement technologies
  • Identify and negotiate with potential suppliers to ensure optimal sourcing.
  • Research and integrate innovative trends and solutions, drafting detailed development plans for new products.

Implementation Stage

  • Participate in technical meetings with customers to understand requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers, monitor delivery timelines, and validate received materials.
  • Oversee installation and electrical connections of components per technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with the team on PLC, robot, and automation integration into processes.
  • Develop vision inspection programs, set up cameras, and test systems both on-site and off-site.
  • Propose and implement system optimizations for efficiency and functionality.
  • Design and execute test scenarios, debug solutions, and hand over completed projects to clients.
  • Identify, document, and resolve functional errors in devices.
  • Prepare and archive technical specifications and documentation for customers.

The tools in your backpack:

  • Proven experience in PLC or robot programming in automation projects (minimum 3 years).
  • Vision programming experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Valid Group B driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with professional qualifications under §23 promulgation no. 508/2009 Coll is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University or advanced secondary school education in a technical field, ideally applied informatics, measurement, visual systems, or robotics.
  • Proficiency in English (other world languages are a plus).
