Overview
We are looking for a System Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and services within our organization. This role involves managing ticket resolutions, maintaining IT infrastructure, supporting hotel and event technologies, and ensuring high security and network maintenance. Responsibilities
IT Operations & Support
- Manage and resolve support tickets in accordance with agreed SLAs.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including O365 account management for new starters and leavers.
Hotel IT Solutions Maintenance
Ensure the uninterrupted functionality of key hotel-related technologies, including:
- Video surveillance systems
- Panic buttons in rooms
- Access control systems (Salto for hotel rooms)
- Disaster communication systems
Event & Office Technology Support
- Manage and maintain digital signage, coworking setup, and cabling infrastructure.
- Oversee monitors, video walls, sound systems, and microphones for events.
Network & Connectivity
- Ensure stable network operations with no service interruptions.
- Optimize Wi-Fi coverage, speed, and availability.
Security & Compliance
- Conduct penetration tests and implement recommended security measures.
- Enforce IT security best practices to protect systems and data.
- Server Management: Maintain and monitor physical and virtual servers using Hyper-V.
- Backup & Storage: Manage Veeam backup solutions and NAS storage.
- Infrastructure: Handle cabling, oversee the ticketing system, and manage printers and network infrastructure.
- AV & Parking Systems: Support and maintain televisions, audio systems, and control/support parking barriers.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with external vendors and partner companies.

Technical Skills
- Hospitality Management Software: Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) for managing reservations, guest check-ins, and billing.
- Monitoring: Experience with Nagios.
- Network Management: Ability to configure and manage servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
- Cybersecurity: Ensuring data security and system protection against threats.
- Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic skills to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Programming Abilities: Basic coding skills to customize and integrate software applications.
- Mobile & Tablet Device Usage: Efficient use of mobile and tablet devices for operations and guest services.
Soft Skills
- Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to minimize downtime and technical issues.
