Industrial Printing Operator (On-site in Belgium)

We at WorkNomads are looking for a motivated Plastic Automotive Screen Printer. He/She will be operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality prints on plastic automotive components (ex: PC foil). Your expertise in printing techniques, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.
We are recruiting a Plastic Automotive Printer to join our team, working from the clients’ production location in Belgium (on site).

Dare to have a mission:
  • Set up and operate printing equipment, including printers, and drying units, to ensure accurate and consistent printing on plastic automotive components.
  • Mix inks according to standard formulas.
  • Adjust printing parameters, such as speed, temperature, and pressure, to optimize print quality and minimize waste.
  • Perform routine quality checks on printed components to ensure they meet specifications and adhere to quality standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical or technical issues that may arise during printing operations, coordinating with maintenance or technical support teams as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for printing materials, chemicals, and waste, in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Cleaning of the printer and used screens at the end of the process.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new printing techniques, and equipment advancements to enhance printing capabilities and efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed production records, including print settings, material usage, and production quantities.
  • Prepare reports on print performance, efficiency, and any quality issues encountered during printing operations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize printing processes, minimize waste, and improve overall productivity
The tools in your backpack:
  • A university/ technical school diploma or relevant experience; additional technical certifications or training in printing technology is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a printer operator in the plastic automotive industry or a related field is an asset
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work with ink and chemicals on a daily basis.
  • Familiarity with different types of inks, solvents, and substrates used in automotive printing.
  • Basic knowledge about colors parameters.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise and accurate work.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting printing equipment and resolving mechanical or technical issues.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in handling printing materials and chemicals.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report any issues or concerns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Fluency in English
